GRP Fibreglass — The Bath Standard

GRP fibreglass has become the default flat roofing system for Bath garage and extension flat roofs over the past 15 years, and for good reasons. It offers better adhesion than cold felt and a longer service life — typically 15 to 20 years. It remains cheaper than GRP or EPDM for initial installation.

However, at equal quality of installation, GRP will outlast torch-on felt by 10 to 20 years on a Bath residential flat roof, making the total lifecycle cost of GRP lower despite the higher upfront cost.
